Hello Friends!
Telling a story with picture placement is as easy as clicking "left" then "right" and then "left" again as you add your pics and let the text wrap around them.
For this tutorial I will tell a quick story of the critters living at my house! The first pic you see is Samantha...known as Sammi...and perhaps better known as Sam! She "found" us at about 1 year of age and was starving, had no hair on her belly and was covered with mange. Needless to say she improved and thrived, although the poor gal just had most all of her teeth removed due to an immune deficient condition. BUT, she is eating fine and actually seems more kitten like now that those nasty teeth are out of her mouth!
Critter number 2 in our household is Scrunch! He was one of 5 kittens born to a stray that was hanging about 4 years ago. I salvaged or rather took the kittens from Mama so they would not be wandering wild. She was spayed and I found a home for her and all of the kittens except this one which we kept as company for Sam. She had become quite attached to them! Although he was one of the runts of the litter, the Vet now says he needs to lose weight! ;-)) 16.2 pounds he does NOT need to be! You see him here...his favorite daytime spot, wrapped up in the tablecloth! Needless to say, if anyone sits in this chair at this end of the table.....you best expect some kitty hairs on your pants!
Sydney is our bunny who will turn 10 years old in February of next year (2004). We also rescued him when he was just a few weeks old. Actually the WHOLE bunny story of how he came to be and the situation involving his Mom and Dad is a story all in itself and would take a whole other chapter to tell! So I will just leave it with the fact that he is a sweet bunny who loves attention and loves the times I set him lose in the yard to wander and chew on all my plants...
Last but not least.....is Jimmy Jay! When we bought our house a bit over 2 years ago, he (and his friends) came with the territory! I was determined and within weeks had him eating from our hand. It is part of the daily routine to make sure he has peanuts on the table outside. He will definetly let you know if there are none there! I am not sure of the life span of a Jay but he is still here after 2 years plus!
I hope you have enjoyed this sample (but real) story and have learned how you too can write one!
Best Wishes,
Karen
