On the 1st of January of this year we launched the FREEWARE version of Mokum Mail and we called it Mokum Mail LITE. The program is ideal for the user who likes to send no-nonsense "plain text" messages BUT we have maintained some extra HTML features - like sending a photo IN your message - and lots more as well! In the past 5 months numerous people downloaded the LITE version. It started with one... then two... and so on, look at this picture... Thanks to all for trying Mokum Mail. Do you need to download the LITE version again? No problem, be my guest and
MM Registered users AND MM LITE users are all WELCOME to join the group at Yahoo, the
MokumCafe. This group is not only social, but also a good place to get questions answered and problems solved with regards to using and learning Mokum Mail.

As with any new program, there is always a learning curve before you can appreciate all that is
offered. I encourage you to take advantage of the INFO FILE that comes with the program, which is filled with screen captures and detailed explanations of how everything works. My side-kick, Karen Shirron, has kept the INFO file up to date including all new features. Browse to the book/chapters (in the content menu on the left) which apply to the window you are working in, or click on the index tab and use a key word to find something in a hurry. You can easily minimize it to your taskbar while
working within MM. Should you have a question or problem not addressed, feel free to write to us
using the form you find
HERE and
we will do our best to find the answer and/or solution.
For 10/plus easy tutorials to help you learn or review the 'how to do' something in MM, visit the
MM Academy. You may also want to visit MM's Main Site, to see the latest review that was in the Dutch PC Active Magazine.
Last but not least... you really should have a look at the "For Users, By Users"
MMF files! We have consistently added to the MMF collection, which is FREE for registered and 'LITE' users, and have reached over
1,300 ready to use stationeries for use in Mokum Mail for messages and replies.
Have a look!
Best wishes,

Musical Tip!
by Karen Shirron
I decided this month to share a tip I received from our Gitte in Sweden! MANY thanks Gittt!
There are many users who are now using streaming music from their own websites to play MP3's or Wav files that are too large to embed in their emails. Have you ever considered how easy it is to snag those music files for your own use? You can then use them the same way by uploading to your OWN site, BUT even if you don't have a website... you can easily store them onto your own PC's into a music folder and do what with them, you might ask? How about listening to them from the juke box within your MM clock... which you all received as a gift from Joop! If you still do not have the MMClock program, click on the "Talking Clock" link in the ShowCase column on the right!
If interested, here are the instructions for easy saving:
When a message in Mokie has a music file that you want to save, click on Source while viewing that message in the Browser:
Find and copy (highlight/right click/copy) the link to the file in the code:
Close source, right click and paste the link here, without the " ". Next click on Go:
The file opens and plays in Windows Media Player! Click 'File/Save as' to save the music file in a folder where you want it:
How EASY is that?!
Kind regards,
