August 3, Friendship Day. 
When the idea of Friendship Day was started by the U.S. Congress in 1935 as a way for America to honor and acknowledge the country's best friends, no one would have thought that the holiday would turn into a worldwide showing of care and compassion among, not only nations, but also individuals.
Friendship Day occurs on the first Sunday of every August. This year, it falls on August 3, 2008, acting as a way for us to remember, and show our love for our closest friends. Now more than ever, everyone needs Friendship Day. With the current hustle and bustle of life, we need a day simply to remember those who make our lives complete.
I never imagined that my little programs LISA, Fetch-It and now Mokum Mail would bring me so many friendly and loyal customers, such a wonderful and dedicated group of Beta Testers and many personal friends in the past ten years. I think it's the right time for saying a heartfelt THANK YOU for being a friend!
Sign here, please!Have you wondered how Joop has added a different signature to many of his messages?? It really is quite simple! He has merely stored the code with the attributes for his name using a script type font and saves it in his MM Notepad! You will see the NOTES button bottom left as you are typing in the Editor window. Below you see a sample I made using one for myself...
Here is the code for the one I used. You can, of course, change the font attributes, color, and definitely YOUR NAME to what you want!
Right click on the text in the box above, select all, copy and paste it into your MM Notepad. (Don't forget to change YOUR NAME to your own !!!) You can keep several there if you want with different fonts and or colors ready to be copied and pasted into your email messages at any time! Here you see a part of my Mokie NotePad...
Alternatively, you can SAVE your code for your signature as a .txt file in any folder and then use the IMPORT button to insert it into your message any time.

The Silence Before The Storm...
It may seem a quiet time and nothing is going on in the Mokum Mail Labs, but just like this little duckie in a pond... at the surface all may seem calm, but under the water we are paddling like hell...!
I can't tell you everyhting about the ongoing developments yet, except that at this very moment Joop and the Beta Testers are working on a FREEWARE version of Mokum Mail that will be called "Mokum Mail Lite". It will have less functionality than the full version, of course, but it will keep some pretty features that will distinguish Mokum Mail Lite from other free standard mailing programs!
So.... Keep In Touch With The Dutch!
