Help us promote Mokum Mail around the world!

February 2008 - We LOVE Mokum Mail! We are so very excited about the release of Mokum Mail v6.0 that we decided to spend the entire first quarter of the year promoting it around the world! Why are we telling you this, you ask? Well, because we need your help!

You are already a registered user of the program (with our many thanks), so you know how great it is, and we know you have already told all of your friends and family about the program and many of them have become registered users (thanks to you as well.) Now we need to get the word out to all of the people we DON'T know.

How will we do that? What can you do to help? Let me tell you!

We are gathering contact information for major news publications from around the world and will be contacting them with an opportunity to test and review Mokum Mail. However, we don't live everywhere, and we don't read every publication, so we would like for YOU to give us a hand. If you click here, you will be taken to a page on the Mokum Mail website where you can input the contact information for publications that review software. This would include major newspapers, a wide variety of magazines, ranging from technology based information to women's magazines. Also, if you know of any web e-zine's that may not be in print but still deal in informing the public on different products, send those along as well.

We would be extremely grateful if you would check your magazines and local newspapers and head on over to the website and enter their information for us. Don't worry about repeating the info on something we might already have... we can check that. It would be a shame if we missed a good one because everyone assumed that we would have it already.

Business Cards for Mokum Mail are now available! Many of you have seen the "teaser" business card that Joop has been sporting in his emails over the past few weeks, and now we are proud to say that we have finalized the design (with many thanks to Karen for her tireless work) and have cards available to you folks that would like to help us spread the word. These business cards can be posted on bulletin boards, notice boards, or anywhere else this type of advertising is allowed. If you are interested in having a few business cards to pass around, please click here for the image file (if you would prefer to do the printing) or contact us so we can send some to you! We also have that same single card in a much higher resolution and size if you prefer to print some in 5x7 or 8x10 (A5 or A4 in Europe) format should you know of places where this size may be better.

The PR department has until March 31 to make a mark on the world, and during that time, it also has two extra pairs of hands to help with all the work! We are already busy working and welcome any help or ideas our users have to offer!

Don't forget about the "tell a friend" MMF files, which are simply nice stationary files with slogans for MM in the banner. These are a great way to get the word out and because they are simple messages, they don't detract from your message. Should you want to send some messages to friends or family using one of those same stationeries with a pre-fab message describing Mokum Mail, we have also included a couple WITH TEXT that should suit your needs.
