Theme Overview
Theme Overview:

THEMES: the quickest way to create stunning HTML messages. The Themes Window that you see below lets you create and save your own Message Themes (Stationeries) which you can call up with just one mouse click. You can create many different Themes for different occasions and use them over and over again. Your themes can be put into categories and a thumbnail picture will be taken each time you save a new one. More on this later.

An HTML message can contain one or more of these HTML elements: If you have never saved any theme, then select the ' Default ' theme. You can change the settings of this 'Default' theme to your liking and then save it with the same name 'Default'. Or you can, of course, change the 'Default' theme and then save it with a different name.

Mokum Mail will always have a 'Default' theme and a 'Plain Text' theme by default. As stated above you can change your 'Default' (using the same name) to whatever you want.

The 'Plain Text' theme is just that...Plain Text! No tagline, no text smileys will be created, no MM logo etc. This is for those times when you are sending to someone or perhaps a work situation where nothing embedded is allowed. Note: If you do attempt to add pictures or files to this "Plain Text" theme, Mokum Mail WILL pop up a window asking if you are sure!!

The picture at the right shows how I have highlighted one of my categories and thus I see only the themes listed within that chosen category...

NOTE: A theme contains the full path\file names to image and music files on your hard disk. If you inadvertently delete or move such a file then that file will not be found and you will have to select a different file (or remove the theme from the list).

A COMPLETE description of each setting follows in the topics below.
