When you think that the MM-LOG.TXT file has grown too large then simply run the program ZipLOG.exe from Explorer. (This is located in the MM folder where you find MM.exe) It reads the file MM-LOG.TXT and creates a zip file in ..\MM_data\MM_LogFiles\... Then ZipLOG.exe removes the file MM-LOG.TXT, so MM can create a new one.

If you generate a lot of mail, you might want to zip your log file at the beginning of every month.

You can also have Mokum Mail check the size of your log file and - if the file grew larger than 250 KB, 500 KB, 750 KB or 1 MB - the program will automatically zip the log file and it will let you know the name of the ZIP file and where it is stored. See the Preferences item in the main window.
