Load MMF File (SEE NEXT PAGE FOR MM LITE)
Load MMF File.
You can download and use any, of the more than 1,300, .MMF files from the Mokum Mail web site by clicking HERE . These stationery files are formatted for use in Mokum Mail.
Users have graciously shared their creations and most of them are using features only available in the Full version of MM. You can also import .IMF (Incredimail) "letters" and stationery the same way if you have saved some or someone has shared some with you. You can use .MMF files that you have created yourself or .MMF or .IMF (Incredimail) files that you received from others very easily. When you have saved one or more .MMF files together in a folder, you will see something like this:
When you click in the Editor on the Script button, browse to the folder where you have your MMF files or IMF files. To view what one looks like, simply highlight the file and then right click on it as you see here to view it in the browser.
Now, if you like what you see, select the .MMF or .IMF file by clicking on the button to the left of it OR click the SELECT button.
The file will be extracted into the ...\MM_System\MM_ Temp folder. The HTM script is checked, cleaned up and imported into the Editor.
NOTE: As this Temp folder gets emptied prior to being used again, IF you have perhaps downloaded a tutorial or such in IMF form, you may want to copy the extracted files to another folder elsewhere on your PC so that you can later open the .HTM file without Mokie.
In addition.... When you click on a saved .IMW file (usually just containing a WAV sound or MIDI music file), that file will be extracted in a sub-folder too and you will see a message that the job has been done.
After extracting such a sound file, it would be advised to move it into a folder where your other sound files are kept!!
Once you have your script in the Editor, it is time to write your message. To make things easier for you, you will find a section within the script that is already highlighted for you! This is where you will type your message. Using your enter key (when typing within this area...), MM will automatically add the line breaks for you.
You can type within those comment tags, OR....
Alternatively, you can click on the WYSIWYG editor button (or press fuunction key F3) and easily type your message in that window without trying to type within all the HTML code of the message. VISTA users, please see the section about how to make the WYSIWYG work with Vista, in case you get an error message.
In addition...
.MMF files are associated with the Mokum Mail program automatically. Double-clicking on an .MMF file from Windows Explorer (or any other file browser), will fire up Mokum Mail automatically and load that file immediately into the MM Editor.
