Export As .MMF File (NOT IN MM LITE)
Export as .MMF file.
When you have created a pretty message that you want to store in an .MMF (Mokum Mail File), you first should enter the file name in the SUBJECT line of MM's editor. To make sure the file name will be accepted by any WEB site or E-mail program, replace blank spaces by underscores.
For Example: flowers_12_by_annie
Click this button to save the message as an .MMF file.
A window will pop up where you will select the .MMF file option:
Mokum Mail users can share complete HTM scripts with background stationery, pictures, music and animation by ' packing ' them in .MMF (Mokum Mail File) format. When you click on this button, the complete HTM script and all pictures and music files will be ' packed ' in an .MMF file. The name of that file will be retrieved from the Subject line; make sure to type a short, descriptive name with normal letters and numbers.
It is also IMPORTANT to add in the Editor Comment tags for the text (BEFORE you export) as shown below:
<!-- MM TEXT START -->
YOUR TEXT HERE...
<!-- MM TEXT END -->
If you do not add this and try to export your work as an .MMF file, Mokum Mail WILL pop up a reminder telling you to do so. AND actually, it is almost easier to let MM remind you!!
'Why?' you might ask...
After the reminder box you simply have to place the cursor at the right location and press F9 to insert these three lines into your HTML script.
After you have selected a folder where you want to save the .MMF file, you will be able to make corrections to the file name.
Note: No spaces in the file name, use underscores _
Click on the OK button and the file will be created.
