Extract an MMF, an IMF or an IMW file
The 3rd method is Extracting an attached .MMF, .IMF, or .IMW file:
Mokum Mail users can share complete HTM scripts with background stationery, pictures, music and animation by 'packing' them in .MMF (Mokum Mail File) format. To see how you can create such a file, click
When you receive a message that has an .MMF file attached to it, click on the 'Attached files' drop-down list (from the Preview/Plain Text window) and click on the .MMF file name.
The contents of the file will be shown in MM's Browser so you can decide whether or not you want to save it.
When you close the Browser window, a 'Save to Folder' menu will appear. Select any folder (or create a new one) and click OK to store the .MMF file.
IF you do NOT want to save it, simply Click Cancel or press the Esc key to ignore the attachment.
NOTE: In exactly the same way, you can store an Incredimail .IMF file; Mokum Mail is able to import and process these files just like the .MMF files. In addition, if there is an attached .IMW file (an Incredimail sound file) attached to a message, simply click on it and Mokum Mail will extract it on the spot and open it in Iview. From there you can immediately save it to a folder of your choice just like we did with attached pictures.
Now that we have saved an .MMF or .IMF file, let's see how to import these files back into Mokum Mail to use in your messages!
