Mark
Messages you choose to be Blacklisted, White listed and/or Deleted from the server, or Downloaded to your Inbox must first be marked for these actions. The following picture shows you where to do this.
- BL... Check here to mark a sender for your Blacklist
- Del... Check here to mark a message for Deletion.
- D/L... Check here to mark a message for Down Loading to your Inbox or for Extracting one or more messages to a folder of your choice.
- WL... Highlight a message and click on the WL button shown above. This will allow an addressee to show up in your KNOWN list BUT does not add them to your address book.
- F... Flag a message.
Clicking in this column enables you to FLAG any message header. You can select from different colors. When you click on the '?', you will be able to enter/edit the description of each color flag. Once the message is downloaded, the flag will be shown in the INBOX folders.
NOTE 1: When you mark a sender for the black list, you do not need to mark him for deletion as well. As soon as you retrieve message headers from a different or the same server, or when you click on the EXIT button, Mokum Mail will ask if you want to Black List AND Delete the marked messages; just click on YES and black listing and deleting will be done automatically.
NOTE 2: When you click with the RIGHT-button of the mouse in the BL, Del or D/L column, you get an option to mark or un-mark ALL cells in that column.
This is perfect for getting rid of a large number of SPAM messages and for marking all messages for downloading to your INBOX. In the BL column you will not be able to un-mark a sender who is in your black list, nor will you be able to black list a sender who is in your address book or your white list.
This example shows messages now marked D/L, BL, WL and Del.
NOTE: Where the cursor is shows how you can 'drag' in a column to mark several messages at one time

NOTE: When you have White Listed a person, the Mark for that will show as WL in the same column as those you Black List. (see in the image above) The next time you retrieve your message headers this message will show up in your KNOWN list unless you have downloaded or deleted it.
