Note for VISTA and Windows 7 Users
VISTA and Windows 7 Users: Attention please.
EDITOR WINDOW:
In the MM Editor Window you find the 'WYSIWYG' button, which stands for 'What You See Is What You Get'. The WYSIWYG-editor is very handy for typing text at the ' YOUR TEXT HERE ' part of MMF and other scripts. Some people feel inhibited when typing a message amongst HTML code... Now you have an option! After clicking on the WYSIWYG button, the same message will now appear in full glory. A double click in the text box and you are ready to type your message without doing so amongst all the HTML code.
However, if you use Windows VISTA or Windows 7, it is possible that you get an error message when you start this feature. This is due to an omission in the operating system, fortunately Microsoft offers a solution for this.
DHTML Editing Control for Applications is a redistributable component that is available for Windows Vista or later to enable compatibility for MS Access 2003, and other applications which previously relied on this control in Windows XP and Windows 2003.
The DHTML Editing Control for Applications provides HTML editing capabilities in a WYSIWYG design surface made available as an ActiveX control. The redistributable package only contains the “for Applications” version of this control. The “for Applications” version of the control can be used with client applications, but cannot be loaded inside Internet Explorer.
