Inbox
You can access the Inbox from the Main window...

Or from the Quick Reply/New Message window...

When you Down Load (D/L) messages from the Main window... Or you SAVE individual messages when viewing them in the Plain text window...

The end result is... These messages will go to Mokum Mail's INBOX.

How you set up your Inbox is really up to personal preferences... You will note in the picture above that I have MANY sub folders in my Inbox. If you belong to any Yahoo groups, you will know that they always have the group name in the subject field of messages. Mokie is so smart that when he sees a [Group Name] in the subject field, he automatically separates those messages into their own folder. When there is no designation in the Subject Line or Message Rule set up, the messages will land in the main Inbox folder.

In the INBOX you see this new button: "Jump To Folder". When you click on it you will see a list, up to 10, of the MAILBOX folders which you have selected most frequently. One click lets you jump to a selected folder. The system is self-learning: the folders with highest usage frequency will always be in that list.

Let's now do a close-up of some of the features in the Inbox:

In this sample, the Tree on the left shows how different sub folders can be set. You can also set up any number of personal folders for sorting your messages into.

EG: You may want one for 'Online Bills' or 'Uncle Joe's' messages all in one... This can be done with Message Rules which we discuss here
...or by saving to an individual folder or moving the messages later.

You can now also change the Subject of "Saved" messages in the Inbox. You can also move a message to a different folder AND change the Subject. If you read any message in the Inbox in plain text, simply click on the save message button and you will be given this option.

Read/Unread
The envelope next to the message is closed and the message is bold to show that this message has not yet been opened after downloading. The envelope picture switches to open and the message font is normal after it has been opened and viewed for 5 seconds.

View
To VIEW a message in the Inbox you can either double click on a message OR single click on the envelope to the left of the message.

Replied / Not Replied
A Reply Icon appears to the left of the envelope if you have replied to this message. ALSO... If you have REPLIED to a message while at the server from the MAIN window and then download this message, it will appear with the Reply Icon as soon as it enters the Inbox.

Flags
A Flag appears next to any message you have flagged in the Main window and downloaded to your Inbox. You can also flag any message that is already in your Inbox by clicking in the flag column next to the message.
TIP: You can manually mark a message as read/unread and with/without reply icon by right clicking on the message or in the reply field...
