Hi there Friends!

Karen Shirron, You wrote in [MokumMail] ...

This is part 1 of an example of how to reply to a message using MokumMail.
Joop will reply to this message and show you what to do with the quoted part and where to put your reply text.

O.K. here is part 2. When I clicked on the Reply button in the plain text Preview window, Mokie created a prefab reply with Hello and a reference line at the top and a Bye line and my name at the end. Her original text was embedded in QUOTE .... UNQUOTE markers, These markers trigger the creation of the text box that you see above.

First of all I selected a Theme with one mouse click (we will get to creating Themes later).

Next I cleaned the quoted part. I only want to show the part that needs to be replied to.

Because I try to be a polite boy, I leave the quoted part of the original message at the top of the message I and start my reply immediately below the UNQUOTE marker.

Here are the 'rules':

It is up to you to follow these 'rules' or not. I just explain how the MM Reply feature is designed. The main goal of this design is saving you time because you do not have to type a greeting and a bye. It is to avoid a reply to a friend by sending back ALL of the original message with all bells, whistles and music included and just one line at the top saying "Nice job !!!". Let's write with style.

Have a great day,
Joop.
